Ports
A port is an upstream program rewritten in Viv and checked against the upstream code. Each one is a vipyr
distribution, vipyr-<name>, under the upstream's license.
-
vipyr-liquids, the examples of Allen and Tildesley's Computer Simulation of Liquids (CC0-1.0), asvp.liquids. -
vipyr-dftatom, dftatom by Ondřej Čertík, Jiří Vackář and John Pask (MIT), asvp.dftatom; the gallery's atoms against NIST uses it.
Neither is on PyPI yet; both run from a checkout. Each carries the upstream license verbatim, a list of authors with the upstream authors first, a citation file, and a record of the upstream commit ported and every difference from it.
